Kungabarnen - child of the island of the original goths. But also, and more importantly, my longtime friend and bandmate Lars Nilsson. We made noise and spooky novellas with social surrealism for years in our two bands Manlig Kärlek and Mopsiga Barn. This album of sample-heavy, crunchy sound collages, improvised songs and absurdist peeks through the looking glass into the slimy underbelly of the lukewarm and sodden realities of contemporary swedish life has waited in the wings, or in a drawer in my home, for several years until I recently rediscovered it, and it's nosepicking scrappy glory.
Also released as a cd-r in a brown paper cover, 20 copies made. Swedish listeners should get in touch with me and through me I will direct you to Lars other workings, especially his great fanzine Sällsamheter i Munchkinland.
